I've been meaning to write about Sublime Frequencies for a while, they're a Seattle based label dedicated to putting out raw as fuck world music, not in a kind of trendy mad decent way but rather putting out music largely recorded from old radio shows in the host countries. This has seen Nepalese folk, Thai pop, Algerian rai and Argentinian psychedelia amongst other things. I had missed the chandce to see Group Doueh and Omar Souleyman (pictured above) recently and im massively regretting it!
